Hi everyone,
Sat on our balcony to eat our packed breakfast. Not quite micheline standard but ok. However coffee awful. Decided to drive to the glacier for a gentle stroll. Yeah! It was not a gentle strole but well worth the effort. We were able to see the snow and ice on the tip of the mountain. There were many waterfalls to photo which pleased Pat. I enjoyed the smaller things like the teeny weeny flowers and plants that live harmoniously alongside the giant boulders. I find that fascinating. When you look closely there is a huge number of flowering plants that most people just walk by without noticing. The day was warm but still a bit grey so not ideal for getting the best results for glacier photos.
After returning to the town we had lunch and went into a centre where they help to hatch Kiwi’s. They are so cute but incredibly heavy for their size. Their babies are enormous when they hatch compared to their parents size. Human equivalent would mean us poor ladies giving birth to a baby the size of a 3-4 year old OUCH!
As a reward for being the best wife
Pat could have imagined he treated me to a massage with Dennis at the local spa? I must say I had reservations having a male masseuse but he was wonderful. I needed to release some tension in my shoulders caused by my worry about not having our car for work when I get back. I know well sort something out but........?
We’re off to feed Pat again. He’s always hungry and I’m not. Luckily the food everywhere we have been so far is of a high standard so
