Next day Simon took us all including George his son and Jorge a visiting AFS student out on the lake in the boat. In early December and with difficult weather there were no other boats on the lake which is 50 kms long with many many inlets and bays. We were told it can get really rough and judging the weather so far we are believers.
Our trip was a furtive foray making sure no winds cloud or rain were on the horizon...a quick picnic and swim for the courageous and back.
