We took a cruise around this fjord known as Milford Sound, it was well out of the way but well worth it (4 hour round trip just to get there and back)

More Mountains

The 2 hour boat trip took us up Milford Sound to the Tasman sea and back again.

This is the 'Mother-in-law' rapid. This time it's 'Hold On, Get Down'
All you can see of us is that oar!All you can see of us is that oar!
All you can see of us is that oar!

By doing the 'Hold on for dear life, Get Down' Position we somehow came through this rapid still afloat and all still in the raft.
