Hello again,

I think you all will be happy when this travel blog comes to an end.

I think it's been over 70 days. It is too long of a trip to keep up with.

But for you loyal blog readers. This is how it went yesterday.

This drive takes all day as you average about 15 mph.

The Otago Peninsula juts out into the Pacific to the east of Dunedin.

To drive it the small narrow winding road hugs the coastline on the

way out and then comes back via the High Cliff road. A very warm day

here. 85* when they only forecasted 65*.

Here are a few images from yesterday.

On the road...
with Lowell and Gloria... 70 days, wow - sure went fast. I'm curious, after 70 days on the road have you seen any bus-holes down there? If there are any, where do they stay? Are there any motorhomes or campgrounds in NZ for bus-holes (and the likes)? That 15 mph road looks pretty neat, (beautiful)! Thanks for the update!

Oh that's right, you're from MN. Sorry to tell you the Packers just beat the Vikings,...but then again,..what's new? They always do....ahaaaaa!! Just kidding!! Safe travels,...and keep the pictures and stories coming!! Jenny

I think the tour bus has more than 1/2 of the road-looks like some of those winding little roads in northern Italy. There are some beautiful places there. You better enjoy the 85 degrees- it hasn't gotten above freezing for almost two weeks and forecast says it won't get above 32 for at least one more week. it has been cold, cold cold here. The elk were in the back yard this morning so i guess it is officially winter.
