Took a day trip out to Akaroa which is a small little town in a bay east of Canterbury. Left the plains of Canterbury and over a few mountains to get to the bay. Just walked around a bit and had some fish and chips and a hotdog for lunch. The hotdogs here are like corndogs in appearence but the meat doesn't taste like American Hotdogs. Also the ketchup here is more sweet and tangy than American ketchup which I think is salty. I'm not a big fan of the the ketchup here. The view going down into the bay was very sweet though.

This pigeon only has one foot. It hung out infront of us while we were eating and chased away any other pigeons that got near us. I gave him a fry when we left and the rest of the birds chased him for a while in the air like a great car chase.

Ended up going back down this path because the car started to heat up going up it.

All those white things are sheep...a lot of them here in New Zealand...like 40 mil or so.
