Up hill and down dale today. First up behind the hostel to the Camel's hump, to see the view - like being in a plane! Then along the Lane Cove path, also very up and down, and rather longer than we expected, so we didn't quite make it to the cove! There is a hut there you can stay in, but the only way to it is to walk for 2 hours, or go by boat. We found out later that if we had walked to the end, we could have been picked up by boat. Never mind, it was a great walk - involving paddling through streams, and we were ready for Stephano's pizza later that evening.

we stayed in belongs to the family who run the farm and the hostel. It belonged to Lindsay's grandparents and is built of Kauri wood. And yes, that is jasmine!
