We have been back home now for 10 weeks. The normal let down after getting back from our wonderful 3 months away in Europe but really nice to be back home and to stop living out of a suitcase, although we have been back and forth to the family in Hasting a number of times and also I have been to Taupo with Corrado, so the suit cases remain in use.

We are really excited about Christmas as Chris, Hege, Lilly and Stella arrive from Norway in a few days time. A few days in Wellington, then off Amy and Jeremys in Hastings So we will all be together for Christmas. The 4 girls are so looking forward to catching up with each other as they haven't been together since Christmas 2016 in Norway. Magic times.

After Christmas we all head down to Martinbough for the wedding of our niece, Leanne, who is also Chris's goddaughter. Almost all the Uncles, auntys, nieces, nephews and cousins etc will be there, so a great catch up to be had, especially for Chris who hasn't seen so many of them for years. So, an eventful festive season and then off to Sydney

in the New Year, traveling with Chris, Hege and the girls to spend a few days there before they fly off to Norway.

The last few weeks we have been busy trying to get the house in order, as one of the problems with being away so much is that the home maintenance does fall behind. I have managed a little bit of fishing, and been able to catch Holly and Ella's sports days. Heres hoping for a fantastic festive season with lots of really good weather. So looking forward to the next few weeks.

Hope all goes well for everyones Christmas and the New Year treats everyone well. Pip/Rod
