North Island

Hello!
So we made it to the north island, the flight was so fast :D Had a quick stop over in wellington and wondered around a bit, then made our way up to Taupo where the weather was lovely and we spent the afternoon sunbathing at the lake. Today we did the Tongariro crossing which is meant to be the best one day walk in NZ however an hour in, the clouds came down and it rained for the entire 5 hours that we then had to walk!! Unfortunately we didn't get to see any of the views!
Still making our way up the North Island and hopefully will arrive in Auckland by Christmas!!
