Lovely lakes!

Well... thing have changed quite a bit. I am now in Rotorua. Which i know makes no sense as i came from Auckland! But 2 of the guys i met were going,(Alex and pete) and i haven't been. We've all got on really well since we met picking fruit. Plus the fuel cost are a lot cheaper now! It's been pretty cool. We stopped of in Taupo for a couple of nights. we weren't meant to, but Alex randomly bumped in a friend from home there. So we had a couple of night out there. And maybe one of the worst hangovers i have had ever!! lol...

We have been camping around the lakes in Rotorua. During the week it is so quiet. The weekend however, every man and his god seems to be there. It's funny. You almost feel angry once you've been left in peace for so long. When other people come, you really end up resenting them!lol... I thought we would have been moved on by now, no one has said anything. We have a tent and my van which we've been sleeping in.

There are some really nice walks around the lakes. And the moment you get hot, you just dive in to the water! It's so much nicer swimming in fresh water rather than salt!

I really like the town as well. we have been out a few times and had some really good times. My only complaint would be the smell!!! Like eggs gone bad!! but you soon forget about it!!
