Me and HollyMe and HollyMe and Holly

Plus bump - Hollys bump that is!!
Went to visit my friend Holly and her son Riley in Rotorua which is known for its sulphur mud pools which means the whole place smells of rotten eggs - nice!

It was lovely to see Holly plus bump and little Riley, I met them whilst working in Mission Beach and they asked me to stay - bless. The first night it was Holly's lodgers birthday so his friend cooked us some Korean food which was very nice, it was the first time I have tried Korean food but I liked it that much I have been to a few places since then to eat it again as there seems to be alot of these and Japanese restuarants in NZ.

I also went Luging with a few of Holly's mums friends who were also over from the UK, Phil and his son Alex. You get a Gondala to the top of the mountain and then thats where the Luging track is, you get on a little cart/board type thing (see pic) then cruise down some tracks admiring the beautiful scenery although not too much as you go pretty fast. Its lots of fun!

We then visited the park where the sulphur mud pools were, they are pretty mad when you see them. Then in the evening we went to see a Maori concert and it included a three course meal which was a nice treat!

It was nice to have abit of home comfort and to catch up with my friend but it was time to move on...........................................
