I passed out real early on thursday night. But before i did i wandered around South Aukland a bit and stumbled upon a zine-fest (as you do) which was nice, but i was too fried to make conversation with the wholesome-looking kids there.
Friday, up at 6.30 (I'd been awake since 5 anyway) and got the train to Levin (where Alex lives). Met an awesome gay girl called Danielle on the way and had a proper conversation for the first time since i left the UK. The landscape is kinda like the Lake District but with lots of small hills rather than less big hills (this part anyway). Alex house is amazing and i get to stay in HUGE bed 😊
Saturday went to Wellington at 9 (I'd been awake since 5.30) to take a look around. Danielle and i had exchanged emails on the train but i wasn't expecting to see her on saturday but we ran into one another about 11 and hung out together all day; she's ended up coming back and staying at alex's in order to chill-out for a while. Looks like the 2 of us are gonna wwoof together, the only decision is are we gonna work in Wellington and then wwoof or visa versa. So that's cool.
Ran into a couple of activists in Wellington who gave me their email address so looks like i should be getting involved in the NZ activism scene which is really good 😊
Can't think of any other news at the mo, gonna spend today chilling out and go back to wellington on monday or tuesday in persuit of jobs (which there appear to be a lot of)
