Postcard to Paul: We're probably at the point where I'll beat my postcards home, but never mind. At least you'll know I was still thinking of you. We spent last night with some of my parent's friends in Wellington. They have a very nice home, half of which I wouldn't mind adopting. For dinner, we had New Zealand lamb, sweet potatoes, squash, and something called pavlova for dessert. Quite good. We've had lots of traveling. Yesterday, we crossed from the South Island to the North by ferry. A beautiful crossing - clear day. Not too warm, though.
