Farming

We've started farming now. It's not a very good deal for us, but it is nice to learn about local NZ agriculture. The arangement is this: we work five hours a day without pay for two meals and a bed. Mostly I have been digging holes and and installing a chicken coop and the like. Two days this week we're able to get payed work removeing fences and chicken wire so that was good. The people are really nice here but the last hosts didn't let us in their house. I'm hoping the women we're going to work with tonight, Louisa, will be more hospitable.
