Our last day in New Zealand 😞
We are in a 5 star hotel - don't know why it is classed as 5 star. Nice toiletries and breakfast and free internet but otherwise much the same as any other city centre hotel. We are right next to the sky tower and sky city.
Andy of course had to do the Sky jump from the Sky Tower - but I think he found it rather tame - it isn't freefall, you come down on a wire at a fixed speed - 192 metres! No way was I doing it.
We also saw an exhibition of the Terracotta Warriors. No mention anywhere that they were replicas until talking to the guide inside! but much cheaper than going to London (if you don't include the price of the holiday!)
Back to Hong Kong tomorrow for 3 nights and then back to cold England to show off my tan and Andy's reddened features!
