We arrived into Auckland on the 30th October and to be honest, we weren't overwhelmed by the city. We stayed in a pretty homely hostel called Ponsonby Backpackers. The area of Ponsonby is okay. It's got a few cool little cafes and it's not too far from the main city.
During our 3 days here, we took a ferry to Waiheke Island. This Island is really lovely. Lilies grow wild and the weather just seems so much better here!
We did a cheeky spot of wine tasting and pretended that we knew what we were talking about.
On 2nd November, we began the Kiwi Experience and were on our way to Paihia!
