Mates, Moments and Memories
Here for 6 weeks, covered over 5800 kilometers, like driving Vancouver to Moncton NB! Loved every minute of it! We made lots of friends and I'm sure we will be back!
Farewell New Zealand.
Our overall thoughts about travelling around these islands is that it is gorgeous everywhere, but something was missing. Infrequently saw birds or any animals other than cows, sheep, goats and deer farms. Loved that there were no bugs, but did not appreciate the hoards of tourists. However, could definitely live here as it is so peaceful and sparsley populated outside of the cities.
Chris continues to say that while NZ's second largest industry is tourism, they lack the infrastructure to handle the volumes of tourists presently coming. They are working hard to address this situation, but the tourist volumes are advancing faster than they can keep pace with. That said, everyone should visit and love NZ.
So long New Zealand, but we will return.
