another day in paradise

Bula everyone from Fiji, Tropical isle very hot amazing resort. We finally came out of the jungle and the rain. There was no phone reception TV or anything else apart from trees toads frogs crocs and box jellyfish called stingers which can sting you to death, also in the sea the occasional shark. However we're now on an island with our room overlooking the beach, tomorrow we move into another room with jacuzzi etc, they've upgraded us because the room wasn't ready, including giving us a free dinner and bottle of champers! We are now 11 hours ahead of you so the flight from Brisbane was only just over 3 hours which is why this feels like we are still in Australia. It is full of Australians! Glad to hear the babies are coming along nicely, and hope the other granchildren are also well. How is Emily enjoying school. Sorry we're away for Debs and Thomas's birthdays. We are going to do a bit of exploring around the island but not today. We have had to keep out of the sun for the last week since we got burnt snorkling but we are ok now so going to do a bit of swimming and sunbathing - factor 30 of course. Talk later in the week.
