I arrived in Sydney just in time for Christmas eve and spent the evening at home with Tej and Ninad (cousins who recently moved to Sydney). They're place was so cozy and I felt right at home. We spent the next few days in Sydney visiting the iconic locations in the city (i.e. Sydney harbour bridge, darling harbour, opera house, etc.) We also had time to pop into Syd's hard rock cafe for a quick brew! We spent boxing day on the famous bondi beach. Getting into the water felt so nice and I couldnt believe I was finally swimming in Bondi! Spending christmas and the holiday season away from the cold and instead at the beach was so surreal. Luckily, sydney wasnt as hot as I had expected. Instead of the regular 40 degree weather that would have been absolutely brutal, the weather during my week in Sydney was pleasant and exactly what I wanted it to be. We spent the next night at a family friend's house for dinner. It was lovely meeting extended family in Sydney and dinner was full of laughs and exciting conversation. I had a really good time during my stay in Sydney and I'm so glad I made it out there during the holiday season, especially because tej and ninad were so wonderful and it was so nice spending time with them.

Cant wait to visit them again sometime in the future!
