Day 15 – 7/3/2015 Rest day. Just looked around the shopping centres in Mildura.
Day 16 – 8/3/2015 Went to Gol Gol just over the border into NSW where there were spectacular views of the Murray River. A short drive down the road was the brilliant Trentham Estate on the scenic banks of the Murray River for some wine tasting, a few bottles for later & more photos.
We returned to Mildura to the Gateway Tavern Bistro for lunch. Choice of 2 soups, minestrone & mulligatawny, then choice of 3 roasts with a vegetable & salad selection, finally followed by a chocolate mousse, all for $15. No wonder the place was packed out.
Returning back to the van to rest up a little before packing the van before heading to Swan Hill tomorrow.
