Was sad to leave Hanoi so soon time flew by really needed at least 2 weeks to do more of the country .travel down to Ho Che Min City . next time will give it more time
so onward we go if what in a crazy route but that's the penalty if you are on a RWT and haven't won the lottery cost extra to go to Hanoi as it was .enough of that
Left Hanoi 8-00am fly to Hong Kong 2 hours then
12-00hour wait for flight to Australia leaving at 23-50.
decided to treat myself to a bit of luxury and booked into the Panda Hotel down town for a few hours try and catch up on some sleep ,wasn't worth exploring HK as it was dull overcast just like the Calima weather.Originally looked at the same at the airport, do short stay options but at 172 USD said no way Jose Panda third of the price including shuttle there and back to airport.
the reason I say crazy route Hong to Cairns via Brisbane ,look on the atlas and one will see you fly over Cairns on the way to Brisbane 2hours down the coast.then disembark for 1hour and half then fly back up the coast to Cairns all in all an extra 2000 miles and 5 .1/2 extra hours travelling

Down town Cairns the Esplanade reminds me of Sin City ,Fantasy Town Yes you guessed it "Las Americas "Veronicas Ok not so many bars but many many eateries all type who sell drinks .so tired booked into what I can only describe as "Cell block H" only one night thank God, found out of town just what called I was looking for called Bohemia Resort, gives me a few days to "chill".

What I did find on arrival the emigration controls are probably most strict I have ever seen.
I was like every body else, at least 5 times during the process of leaving the airport .paranoia about food stuffs and as usual there is always one who tries to bring what is blatantly advertised not to

Many many Japanese ,Chinese here in Cairns.Cairns is the stepping off place for the Rain Forest and all places North.

Queensland since July has been on a real big drive against smoking and is very strict on where you can, sitting outside a bar last night relaxing halfway through my drink got told off for smoking and would have to leave .
Where ever food is served mandatory no smoking and very heavy fines ,all accommodation is no smoking, designated areas usually by the rubbish bins or well away from pools etc no smoking in rooms again heavy Fines also very strict about where you can take alcohol, with this in mind I should be losing weight and leading a healthier life.will try to master how to put pics on but the pchere in the reort won't let me download them off the camea need to find Internet shop and get some help .

hasta luego
