Day 2 Balla to Nulla

Got away on time. Not quite so cold this morning. Just loving this tail wind - gale force westerly, great for the fuel economy, which is just as well given the near $2/litre for fuel. Ran into a few bikers at Border Village (BV) - got chatting; apparently bikers from everywhere are converging on BV for the annual border run, where they all make their way from wherever they are to BV, stay the night then ride home. Maybe next year! - when Megs has her bike licence. We stayed overnight at the Nullarbor roadhouse caravan park. Just managed to squeeze in, even though I had booked ages ago. Great sunset. Had tea, Megan's Mac & Cheese hit the spot. Had to get it down fast though as we had successfully created a wind tunnel with our two vehicles/trailers, so the chill factor rate was right up. So after dinner, we had to go and check out the pub - obviously just to warm up. No dart board here - so we had had to fall back on the substitute game of pool it. Tonight the boys were up. Some great mural artwork on the walls depicting iconic Australiana.
