Kings Park

We returned to Perth from Fremantle today and spent the majority of the day catching up and sorting things out before we start travelling again… posting things back to the UK, washing, shopping, re-packing etc. But by late afternoon we were pretty much organised so we packed a picnic and headed up to Kings Park to watch the sun setting and the city lights starting to twinkle.

As usual we bought far more food than we needed and ended up offering it to the other picnic’ers around us. On the stroll back to the hostel Jo got to test out her nose twitching abilities on the millionaires homes that line the hill leading up to Kings Park which are all very grand. It was then time for a couple of Skype and phone calls before we lost touch with civilisation again and then an early night ready for tomorrow’s early start towards Darwin.
