Some lily's, or something. Yay...
Where to begin...I know. Rain! Seriously, I am going to write a strong worded email to someone about this!

But in all seriousness, the eco-friendly campground is great, the people are friendly and the local area has heaps to see. We have said quite a few times that we could stay for a week in a lot of the places we spend a short time in.

Friday night was fairly quiet but Saturday was great! We went for a look out to the surf beach and saw a couple of young fellas get a good ride and a couple of braver souls further out struggling in the confused swell. We headed back to Busselton and had a fish off the jetty which netted the grand total of five fish – all stinking Toadfish and all for the kids. I couldn't even catch a cold.

On the way back to camp we decided on two required stops – a dairy for some cheese and a brewhouse for some beer (surprise). The dairy never happened but the Bootleg Brewery was great. Kid friendly outside and me friendly inside. Suz and I shared a taster platter of their unique brews, a

couple that were ordinary but a few that were brilliant, with the best one being made with Tassie hops. That night we again had a bit of rain – well actually, a bucketload!

The pack-up on Thursday morning sucked a lot. Rain, rain and rain. But it wasn't as bad as it could have been. We headed off toward Albany (apparently pronounced "Al-bannie" not "All-benny", the way it should be) via Cape Leeuwin, the most South-Western spot on the mainland of Australia. This time we did an audio tour. I think I have reached an all-time old person thing again as the tour at the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse was great. A bit overpriced, as we have found a lot of the tourist things, but still worth a look see.

The rest of the day, for the most part, was spent driving with an 80's/90's mix of Def Leppard and 2Pac. Took Suz and I back to our younger years (mine obviously from the more recent 2Pac era). The kids gave both double albums the consideration they felt they deserved and ended up sleeping the whole way! Cheeky buggers – Pour some sugar on me...

Catching said Toadfish
Ground in Albany is where we ended up. A nice place on the King River that has Black Bream and I can cast a line into the river from my bed. Actually, I might try it in a minute...
