For some stupid reason we set the alarm (6.30) to get an early start for Kalbarri. That is going to take some getting used to again. It was another sunny day and we were sorry to leave Denham, but excited to see another town.
Kalbarri is a beautiful tidy town with a population of 2000. The beach is much more rugged than we have seen before but it is stunning with red cliffs and patches of red sand.
There were so many oysters on the rocky shores. The whole area has easy access to the beaches for fishing, surfing, swimming and even driving on the beach (no we didn't drive on it).
Unfortunately the road to Z-Bend and Natures Window was closed for road works until October which is the whole peak season and seemed a bit dumb to us but we don't know what the weather is like at other times of the year.
Up the hill from town is another area called Red Bluff and the amount of homes being built there defies logic but the views are great.
The wildflowers are starting to come out and when they do it will look stunning.
