So we had a slight intermission to our OZ travels. In Darwin we each took a flight in different directions.

Goff down to Sydney to visit his Mum, me over to “Deutschland” to visit mine. Was marvellous to see Mum and to see Germany in autumn with all the leaves falling was pretty special too. Ate myself through the seasonal onion cakes and new wine.

Now after 2 and a bit weeks we regrouped and are back on the road.

Darwin prooved hot, sticky. We rode the bikes to pools, went to markets, enjoyed an open-air concert at the wharf. Did all the other touristy things, government house, parks, Cullen Bay etc etc and found ourselves at Litchfield NP a few times whilst waiting for flights.

Most important mission was to find water to hover in.

Ah and we also visited the Munich Oktoberfest for one night at the Darwin Casino. Weirdest thing to say the least but hey we had fun.

And yippee we are now on the way west. Got to Lake Argyle yesterday and what a great spot and... the first boab trees too. Looking out over the water we feel like we could be in Greece - just the Ouzo and the greek music are missing and of course having freshwater crocs is a bit bizzare for a Greek island.

Because of the increasing heat, I mean its blooming HOT, we can't see ourselves hiking much from now on so considering bashing through to Broome and the ocean a bit quicker.

Let's face it there is no time schedule or set itinerary.

Goff had a little exitement with Kalimera Van in Darwin during the first torrential summer storm.

NRMA (AANT) came to the party and provided us with hire car and motel for 2 days free of charge which just shows its good to belong 😊

Won a fridge magnet at Singapore airport which reads

“I see my path but dont know where it leads.

Not knowing where I am going inspires me

to travel it “
