The countryThe countryThe country

Just a taste of some of the country we have been travelling through. This view is from Mt. Herbert.
Sleeping next to ocean was awesome. The sunrise this morning was stunning. It is actually now 8:20am and we are sitting around relaxing and watching the tide return. Yesterday when we got here we were treated to a show with huge whales breaching on the horizon. Then 10 pelicans drifted past looking for a feed of fish. Today is a little overcast at the moment but often warms up as the day goes on.
It has been great to read all the comments, so keep them coming. Am guessing we will have more phone coverage now so might be a bit more regular with our entries.
Happy birthday brother Pete. Have a great day.

Birthdays
G'day guys. Glynes, happy belated Birthday for the 19th August, I actually remembered you on the day and I wasn't surprised when I heard that the boys have celebrated your birthday with a frozed ice cream cake in the middle of no where. I know they can do it, I know they can get you swallow (little Bird) eggs for breakfast if they want to. Peter, and you too, I hope you had a great birthday celebration on 27th August and I hope that they have used the left over from the melted ice cream cake of Glynes, that's the least they could do for you champ. your entries for your blog reveals what interesting places you been so far guys, and the pictures are stunning. Keep those fingers typing on the keyboard. G'day John... G'day Neil (Bricky). All the best Mack
