Bob, Bette, Erica & Ron cooling off at the top of the falls.
Well we have survived the infamous Gibb Road and are now in Derby. Due to the total lack of mobile coverage for last three weeks a lot of catching up to do. So I just thought I would let you know that we are safe and almost none the worst for wear. Both car, camper and us are sporting a decent coat of red dust. We had some bits fall off both car and camper but will tell all in later blogs. R& E have gone back to Kununarra to collect their caravan and we will meet up again in Broome. The road was everything I expected and worse! I don't want to see another corrugated road for a while, however the gorges and scenery are spectacular. So as soon as I have cleaned up will get some photos up for you. Cheers Bette and Bob
Bob and Bette are getting that work life thing in balance and taking off for 2 or 3 months to explore our own backyard! Hope you enjoy travelling along with us. This trip will take us up the centre and across to the west, via Gibb River Road. We like to take the road least travelled so stay tuned you never know where we will end up. ... full info
