After picking up Stef and Angela from the airport on Wednesday, we took an interesting drive along Port Phillip Bay.

We then had mandatory afternoon drinks and a nap. In the evening we had dinner with our Melbourne-based Duntroon classmates. Chris Godden organised the event and we had a great turn up with 19 diners.

Thursday was shopping day. Frodj and I went for a walk then vegged out in the hotel. The girls enjoyed browsing and buying in the CBD.

It was a hot day but with good breezes and there were lots of beachgoers enjoying the sun. We resisted the obvious comparisons with "real" beaches.

In an alleyway off Little Bourke St. It enjoyed a good reputation but we hardly noticed the food in the reunion setting.

Had a great feast at a highly rated Malaysian cafe in Flemington. Stef and Angela joined Uber and we each benefited from a gift voucher.
