Update of trip around Melbourne. Got sent to prison see photo below. Where Ned Kelly was hang. Very interesting prison building used up until 1945 for military personnal who did not want to go back to war. Also explored the botanic gardens which were beautiful. Also took a train to Willamstown around the bay. Very windy day but coast line was wonderful.
Walk down to St Kilda through St Albert Park where the F1 curcuit is begin built for 24 March which I will not be around for because I will be a place called Murray Bridge in South Australia (more to come). It was a wet day so did not to alot bbut walk along the promenada and looked the Sunday street Market in St Kilda. Then got the tram back to the hostel.
On Wednesday 23rd took a day trip down the Great Ocean Road. Cloudy at first but sun eventually came out. We stopped at a number of places at Spit Point otherwise remembered for famous TV series Around the Twist. Continued down the road stopping to take photos. Especially the Great Ocean Road sign. Had a walk through a rainforest. Then went to the 12
Apostles and London Bridge which has fallen down in 1990 which trapped two people on one side with no escape but the police did not believe but eventually came 3 half hours later at night to rescue the people from the bridge out to sea.
