Drove south from Adelaide along through the Coorong, a vast area of coastal dunes and estuaries. Came to southern ports, Kingston, Robe and Beachport. Then south to Mt Gambier, second largest city in South Australia, must not be a lot of competition. Country getting greener, higher rainfall area. Vast tracts of plantation timber. Went through Nelson at the start of the limestone coast. Next Portland, of smelter fame. Nice town. Finally I'm in Port Fairy, a pleasant spot with some sailboats. Have spruiked here and there along the way. Someone said there's a big folk festival in Canberra on Easter Weekend. Sounds promising. Today heading east toward Great Coast Road.
