We were glad of the fly screened annexe especially on xmas day.
Been touring round southern NSW & East Gippsland for a few weeks. Stayed at Burrill Lake Caravan Park near Ulladulla which was very nice & had free wifi, the lake is enormous very good for water sports. Ulladulla is a nice town & the pie shop is excellent. Stayed 2 weeks at Wallaga Lake near Bermagui, also a nice park & good for water sports. As we prepared to leave Wallaga Lake a front electrically operated leg seized up & wouldn't retract and while trying to retract it Tony over retracted the other leg!!!!! Eventually he got the disc cutter out & cut off the one that wouldn't retract so we could at least leave the park. We phoned Crossroads at Gympie in Qld to find out the nearest place that could fix it & it was almost 800klms away at Ballarat in Victoria. They had the legs in stock & were prepared to fix it as soon as we arrived but were closing down for 3 weeks over xmas so we only had a few days to get there. We left Bermagui & overnighted at Moe caravan park which is right next to the racecourse. We were given a drive through site as

we couldn't unhitch.Very nice helpful people. We got to Fifth Wheelers in Ballarat at 11am & by 3pm had 2 new legs as the other leg had over retracted & couldn't be fixed. Back to Moe overnight then on to Bairnsdale where we stayed 2 days in Mitchell Gardens Caravan park, well located 2 minutes walk to town on the banks of Mitchell River. Very nice park but low security as there's a walkway along the river that runs past the park & a couple in a camper trailer next to us had their esky stolen containing beer & milk during a thunderstorm. They heard youths yahooing but thought they were just running sbout in the rain!!!! We had read other reports on the same thing so had locked everything away. We are now at Orbost on the banks of the Snowy River for xmas & New Year. Nice small town with all the essential stores.
