G'day my little chickens me again, Im afraid i am still being really lazy at typing up my journal but im a busy girl ok! Wed 5th Jan Have a little lounge in bed till 9am and when i get up David is nowhere in sight so im guessing he has gone for a ride into town. Davids parents are coming over to see him and we are going out to lunch so he better hurry up back before the parents turn up. No such luck his parents arrive before David does so i have to keep them entertained for a while, lucky me. Luckily enough his parents are nice and it is only 5mins till he returns. G'day all, Sorry to everyone for being a bit slack with catching up with the journal entrys but i've been to busy working my ass off, so soz again. MOn 27th Dec A nice early morning call from kids screaming at 8am in the morning and my head feels a bit musty from lack of sleep so i go and take Sandy for a walk on the beach to clear away the cobwebs. During the walk the cobwebs certainly get cleared away as it is so god damn windy and the fresh air makes me tired so i have some breakfast and haed straight back to bed for a while to recover. G'day all, Tue 21st Dec Went for a visit to Melbourne to go and stay with Judys daughter Melissa for the evening. It took us a couple of hours to get there and it was a really hot day too. Melissa is lovely and is so bubbley and so full of life, she does yoga all the time and massages for a living. At her place she has two little dogs called Oscar and Archie and all they do is follow Melissa around everywhere and yap all the time but they are very cute. We all go into town for lunch and plan to watch Bridget Jones at the cinema later that evening. hiya guys, As Christmas is getting nearer it is definately getting alot hotter here so i think i need to work on the suntan a bit. Thur 16th Dec Pop into town this morning to get something and decide that i will get some info on parasailing (xmas present to myself). On the way back we go to The Nobbies (big rocks in the sea before your minds start wandering elsewhere). Whilst on the boardwalk we look underneath it and see some little penguins they are soooooo cute and tiny. We get the binoculars out and have a look at one of the islands as there is always thousands of seals on there, but they look like black dots as they are really far away. it's raining today. i knew it was going to be a lazy day. by now some of my roommates have checked-out and new ones have checked in - a couple of girls from the UK and some guy i never got to meet. had a lazy morning. got a nice long brunch. i decided to get a haircut and had my hair dyed blue - finally! i've been wanting to do it for a long time. it turned out really good. i'll post a photo here as soon as i get it uploaded online. in the afternoon, went to downtown Melbourne. it's about 20 minutes tram ride from where i was staying (St. Kilda). i walked around the "touristy" area. it's a nice city. kinda feel like Vancouver - just a bit. it's actually tied with ... read more
