Life in Melbourne

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry its been this long for us to get you updated. What can I say I got lazy with work and stuff.

Well we've been in Melbourne just over 4 months now and we totally love it here. We're both settled in good jobs and we're both being kept on until end of july at least so it gives us a chance to really start saving again. Theres been so much happening since we arrived in Mel any spare money we've had has been on that. So far we've been to the Australian Tennis Open, then it was the Commonwealth games, then the grand prix, then the comedy festival, then easter and... I'm tired just thinking about it. We've thoroughly enjoyed it though, there just always seems to be something to look forward here, obviously coming up next we have my birthday, the big 24, and then my Mam and Dad are here at the end of May. I really can't wait to see them.

For the Commonwealth games they made a beach right in the centre of town, only in Australia...

The advantages of an inner city grand prix is that you can wander round the track, obviously before the cars got there.

David and Neil went to an AFL game, they really weren't impressed.

Our winery tour to the Yarra Valley
For our 5yr anniversary we heading on a winery tour. It was a really good day and we sampled around 25 different wines

The comedy festival hits Melbourne
With a choice of many we ended up going to see Ross Noble, that long haired bloke from Cramlington... He was really funny though
