Hola from Melbourne!

I have made it to my final destination of Melbourne and am safe and sound in a real house! Actually quite a nice 2 story flat with wood floors, and a great outdoor deck, and my very own private room with queen sized bed!! There was no bugs biting me at night, no one coming in late or early and I slept so much in my stay it felt like. But I’m refreshed and awaiting my flight to Sydney for the dreaded 14 hour flight ugggg!
Over the last 7 days we did some cool things 2 concerts, road trip to Bells Beach, went for 3 jogs, hosted an outdoor cinema night (Point Break), ate about 20 pounds of home-made pizza followed by the fart Olympics! Caught up with my friend Ebaney at her old work Crown Casino and chilled along south bank, watched 6 hours worth of this new series with the Dad from “Malcolm in the Middle” in a row while we worked off the pizza ha, and help Rhett move houses in the midst. It was a great end to the trip and awesome to catch up with Rhett and Nadia who together are like a comedy act always simultaneously dancing to crazy songs like drunken monkeys! We tried to make waffles but didn’t have a waffle maker so we settled for French toast and some late night pancakes later on. This waffle making try was due to the fact that good old Alexa (Vermont) randomly yelled out I love waffles one morning at the wedding house in Eagle Bay. I think she might be forever dubbed waffles. Now I catch one flight to Sydney and then one flight to Los Angeles and hour car ride home and I’m back! 10 flights, 12 cities, 2 bus rides, 2 hitched hiked rides, and a new vocabulary later I return!

This was a great holiday maybe one of the best ever due to so many reasons: Spending time with old friends in Western Australia, getting to travel via road trip with my brother in Eastern Australia, meeting up with old friends all over the place, conquering the fear of solo travel, and making some new great friends along the way! Thank you everybody who followed along and your presence and comments are always greatly appreciated! I think happiness and travels are always best shared so thank you for allowing me time to share with you!
