After a couple of days recovering from jet lag it was back into preparing the caravan for its journey to whatever destination God sends us to next. As Holy Trinity Nomads we have completed our first Journey, 6 months in the UK, and what an amazing Journey it was, how good is OUR God.
Sunday 16th March saw us attend June & Tony's church, the Traralgon Reality Christian Fellowship, it's always so special to share worship with them and there congregation.

Monday 17th March we hooked up our caravan and headed for the local caravan retailer to get the roof resealed, before we left we had noticed a small leak when the rain was heavy so instead of trying to find out where the leak was and fix it, it was easier and will provide peace of mind if the whole roof is resealed. We were also able to purchase a new electric BBQ that was much needed thanks to a personal donation to us from a great friend at St Chads.
On
Tuesday 18th March we were presented with an opportunity to help June & Tony with some outside wall preparation and painting. June & Tony
have been so good to us and are so special to us that anytime we can help them we will. The process started with removing flaking paint from an exterior weatherboard wall then applying a first coat of paint. This was great experience for us both and something we can definitely do as Nomads, should the need arise.

Wednesday 19th March before picking up the now repaired caravan we started sorting out our requirements for a quick 6 day trip back to Hastings to catch up with family and of course our Holy Trinity congregation.
On
Thursday 20th March we headed of with the van for Hastings and, generously, Rosie & Greg had allowed us to stay at there property. They were away on a fantastic holiday in Thailand. We parked the van and set off for lunch at the Vicarage with Alex, Pam, Ken & Judie. A great lunch and lots of great fellowship and friendship.

Friday 21st March we had booked our car in for a service and two new tyres at the Hastings KMart Tyre & Auto however when we arrived they had moved to Frankston, it seems that the Hastings number
has been redirected to Frankston but no mention is made of this when you call, oh well not to worry!!! We managed to catch up with the volunteers at the Church Op Shop and it was not a surprise to see that things were the same, so much to do, so little time & so few hands. These ladies do an amazing job.
Saturday 22nd March gave us more time to catch up with Family & friends before attending a service at Holy Trinity on
Sunday 23rd March, our first service since the 4th August 2013 some 7 months. We attended both the 8.00am and 9.30am service to ensure we caught up with as many of the congregation as possible and it was great to see so many people that we had missed during our Journey to the UK.
On Sunday evening we attended the Lenten studies session which proved beneficial and rewarding as well as an opportunity to eat the Holy Trinity fare.
Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th & Wednesday 26th March again gave us plenty of opportunity to catch up with friends and share good food, fellowship & friendship with members of our Holy Trinity family.
Again God has been so good to us in all we do, Praise be to God.

Thursday 27th March it was time to hook up our caravan and head back to Traralgon to help June & Tony move there daughter Cindy into a new home, again anything we can do to help them we will. It also gives us the opportunity to build up our resume for Nomad work with furniture moving, temporary gate building and general house cleaning and gardening.
On
Saturday 29th March we attended 'Farm World 2014' with June & Tony. This is, as the title suggests, a show that is all about farming, farm machinery & farm produce, with a lot of other things thrown in. It was a great day, very warm and sunny and we had a great time.
On
Sunday 30th March we attended the 10.00am Holy Communion service at St James's Anglican Church Traralgon. This is a family service with more modern than traditional hymns. The service was lead by the Diocesan Lay Reader Jordan Breed and Canon Jeff Richardson. Although the congregation was small it was a great time of worship.
We have been in touch
with the BCA people in Mallacoota Victoria and we will be starting this Nomad work via BCA on
Thursday 1st May. This will be after we return from a Hastings trip for Easter, a special time for us to be with Holy Trinity and the Easter services.
So stay tuned for the Blog
'Go' which will be the start of our Nomad Journey with BCA.
