Nice and spacious
The whole area to ourselves, with amenities, laundry and free BBQ behind the van in a court with other vans who have the same space, Geo: -35.9168, 145.651
Left Swan Hill at 0830 in pouring rain which did not stop until after Kerang drove through Paddy Fields, Dairy Farms to Olive groves and Orchards. Mick took over in Echuca and the further we got to Cobram the warmer it became.
Arrived at the RACV Resort at 1215, it was a good trip and we had lunch sitting under the canopy of the van with a lovely breeze, waiting for the washing to finish and then we'll go for a look around Cobram. Using their free WyFi which is very fast compared to ours.
Went for a drive around Cobram, visiting the Information centre and getting some great ideas of what we can do tomorrow.
We then drove to Thompsons Beach in Cobram which is the largest inland beach in Australia. People were in swimming but we were not tempted and instead had a drink at the little restuarant at the beach. Incredible place with heaps of shade, the Murray River running through and a large patch of sand on the side. (Sounds like a meal you might describe)
We then drove to Barooga, which was not much to write home about except that we were back in N.S.W. again.

Walk through shady gum trees onto the beach beside the Murray River, not real bad at all way now back at the camp having a few drinks and just relaxing along with a few other couples doing the same and they started before we left the park. Life is pretty good at the moment and we have had a great time so far.
Every 15 minutes we can hear a bird scatterer thing going off, which Mick thinks will go all night, I just wonder if it works, sounds like gun shots.
