A long time has passed since the last blog entry in March - and, as you might expect, rather a lot has happened in that time. Nothing less, in fact, than a comprehensive reboot of our entire existence. When I last blogged from Palawan in the Philippines, Alex and I were on our way halfway across the globe to Australia, the country we have chosen to spend the next years - hopefully many - of our li... Great blog and good luck!
you're leading the life, the real one! Good luck to both of you! I used to live in Perth and reading your blog entry made me miss it a lot... A new life down under
It sounds like you've selected a perfect place for you to relocate. Glad things are going well. Hopefully you'll do a few more blogs about the area and the hikes you are doing. That could be helpful to us when we return.

Paradise Found
What a slice of heaven you've found--both the city, with its art house cinemas, fresh produce, etc, and the stunning, walkable countryside. Congrats on setting up an adventurous new life, and how wise of you to get a place and a car to smooth the paperwork transition. Best wishes in your new home, and I look forward to blogs on the great places you discover!

Great to hear from you...
from your new home. It sounds and looks like paradise...with nice people and beautiful scenery What a relief that you both have jobs and can settle down. Just don't forget about blogging when you do get out and about.

There goes the secret
You have let the cat out of the bag...Oz's best kept secret...Tasmania. When I've finished my Patagonia blogs I'll share the delights of Tassie clime...breathtaking. Lucky you to call it home.

Just by looking at the beauty of your pictures, I reckon that the great adventure is quite worth it, congratulations on that courage and positive energy. Frankardenas

You've chosen well
Yep, Tassie has some incredibly beautiful places - probably a good thing the best ones are harder to get to. 'Everything closed on Sunday' - reminds me of when I first moved to Tassie. I went to check out my local shopping centre Glenorchy on a Saturday afternoon - and found a complete ghost town!
