PURE TASMANIA!

Tasmania is a truly remarkable, relatively undiscovered paradise. It has everything! Mountains, rivers, ocean, waterfalls, secluded beaches, unusual wildlife, amazing scenery, great hiking trails, awesome riding roads, incredible seafood, and more. Freycinet National Park is the crown jewel of the state. And of course, REAL Tasmanian Devils! This island has come a long way since originally settled as a penal colony for British convicts a couple of hundred years ago. Most of the original British convicts are now gone, as the last ship delivered them here in 1853 (don't quote me on that). Some seem to be still wandering around here though. Most of these photos were shot around the east coast of the island. This is really an incredibly unique corner of the world.

Perspective
Hard to tell how big the little devil is... next time put your hand next to him so your audience is more engaged. Kind of like the way Steve Irwin used to do it.

Hey Slim... looks like one of those trick shots where your subject looks exactly like you. What, was this late in the day and you hadn't had any tucker for awhile. I know that look, just before you rip into a pizza or some calamari.

Like the anti-dingo cammo, mate. The idea being to look as much as possible like an unappetizing aged Kangaroo so as to convince the Dingo to pass you by.
