13-4-10 Tuesday Up & away we headed for Port Augusta to pick up our mail. We stopped on the foreshore & it was very nice. We then stopped at Port Germein & we walked the longest wooden Jetty in Australia. It is now 1500mt long, it used to be 1600mt but a section fell off. It was a long walk there & back 3km (had my exercise for today) Poor Jake did not make it he has a sore leg from yesterday. We could not find a suitable camp area so we stopped at Port Pirie to ask & all the van parks were booked out as the Master’s Games were on. So we went looking the other side of town & we could not find anything, so we found a dirt rd & we dove & drove, but everything was fenced off & in desperation we rang a fish farm advertised in the camps book (409) & he had sights at his house $10 a night with electricity & water, shower & loo. That did us, we headed there at Port Broughton, it was 4.30pm & we were all tired , we had done 400km today. We had tea & watched Survivor & went to bed. Wednesday 14-4-10 We went & had a look at Fisherman’s Bay, & then went into the quaint little town of Port Broughton, where we had a look at the Jetty & walked the main st. We saw the pub & had a great meal there & then we took a run to Wallaroo 50km down the road. The jetty was crowded with people catching crabs & fish & yes we walked another Jetty. We came home & had an easy tea & played cards. Tony & Cheryl are heading for Wool Bay tomorrow & we are going to Adelaide to stay a week with friends. We will catch up at Renmark .

Sounds like you two have had a wonderful time in S.A , did you end up buying a trailer for the back of van to carry all the wine , or did you empty your water tanks and filled them up with wine . who needs water huh . Did you apply for a job at the wineries , lets see wine tester now there is a thought , someone has to do it . You both sound so happy when we chat to ya on the phone , thats what retirement and travel does to you , then it can not be all bad ..keep safe , keep having a great time , keep up the sex, keep up the drinking , keep it up anyway u can . love to both hugs Marg and Warwick
