I am not sure that I am getting used to these cold mornings, another morning and I don't appear until about 8am despite having been awake since 7am. I grab a shower and by the time I get back, Andy is also up and about making a cup of tea. Jan and Keith have appeared already having had their breakfast as Andy sets about making ours, I already have a load in the washing machine which will need drying but as it is a windy day I decide that it would be best hung outside to get the fresh air. Day 1675/14 Broken Hill To James Town, Via Silverton Despite little or no rain in the night, the morning started really cloudy, fairly cool but dry. Today could really turn out to be a mad kind of day, we are packing up this morning to move up to Silverton from Broken Hill which is only about 25 kilometres from our current location, despite this short hop, our day turns out to do another couple of hundred kilometres on top, but all for very good reason. Thursday morning is also free pancake breakfast day at the camp site we are on and the venue is the barbecue area next to the swimming pool, so of course we have to partake. Unseren zweiten Job bekamen wir rein zufällig, als wir in unserem alten Hostel gingen, um neue Lebensläufe auszudrucken. Genau in diesem Moment war auch ein Farmer (Tom) vor Ort, der noch zwei Arbeiter für 2 Tage suchte. Jamestown ist ca. 3 Std. von Adelaide entfernt und eine richtige Countrytown, Die Arbeit war nicht schwer, wir mussten lediglich eine alte Scheune ausräumen, diese sauber machen und ein wenig Gartenarbeit, dafür bekamen wir freie Unterkunft, Essen und 100 Dollar. Am ersten Tag gingen wir abends zu den Eltern von Tom, um bei diesen zu essen. Es war ein wirklich schöner Abend, das Essen war gut und die Gespräche waren auch sehr nett, es ging um Gott und die Welt (ein paar Themen die mir spontan noch einfallen: Papst, 2.
