Bird in Hand Winery

We had a sleep in this morning. Maybe it was the time difference between WA and SA. Anyway, we had a lazy start to the day, showering and freshing up. We continued our trip towards Adelaide, stopping in Port Augusta for lunch and laundry. We arrived at the Sly residence late in the evening and were delighted to catch up with Norlinda. We met Amber and Cooper for the first time and they were awesome. Amber and Cooper reminded us of Phoenix and Ruby and their behaviour was very similar.
The next day was spent relaxing, catching up with Jo and Norlinda. They have a lovely home with plenty of space and a beautiful garden. The main feature was the pool table and dart board, which kept us adults and kids entertained.
The next day was spent wine, beer, chocolate and cheese tasting in the surrounding towns near the Sly residence. To finish off the day, there was a parade in town where the main road was closed in celebration of Christmas. We met many friendly people and had a great time.
