Byron Bay light houseI was very excited at getting an invite to a wedding for one of Adam's best friends in Byron Bay. We made a long weekend of the trip and booked in at a central hotel, with it's own private beach access. After 6 or so hours in the car, the first thing we wanted to do was jump in the ocean! Though I had spent time in Byron before; around a week in a campervan in a very nice campsite, I was extremely happy to do it again staying in a hotel and getting dressed up.
The wedding itself was beautiful, I met all of Adam's friends for the first time and really loved the intimate wedding overlooking the beach in what's probably one of the most popular café/restaurants in Byron. Great people, great views and a very easy going wedding.
Adam had lived in Byron for 6 months or so years before, so I got to see more of the off the beaten track sights; he showed me a very small but extremely popular beach below the light house, ate in some fantastic restaurants and had a lovely long walk around his old hangouts.
