Finally leaving Brisbane

Mon 22nd Oct:
Finally left Brisy, heading for Noosa Heads. We stopped at a mall on the outskirts, you know what Laz is like for shopping! Ironically, he can't get enough of it now, it was only a matter of time!! Not sure how it happened but I came away with a Nintendo DS in my possession! Guess Laz rubbing off on me too! Travelling up the highway towards Noosa we came across Australia Zoo and decided it was too good to miss so took a detour into Caloundra for the night, the closest town to the zoo.
Once settled at the City Backbackers we took a walk into the town and then down to the beaches. The coastline was lovely, Kings Beach in particular. At the end of the beach was an outdoor sea filled pool which opened at 0530 so looked good for me for tomorrow!
