This series of pics is from a weekend kayak in October. We travelled to Bramston Beach early on Saturday and kayaked across to Russell Island - a small island in the Frankland Islands group off the coast from Babinda. The trip took over four hours. Eddy, the only experienced kayaker among us was very patient as we paddled across the south easterly winds towards an island that appeared to be moving further and further out to sea. It was tough at times but great fun.

We set up camp in a beach side camp ground and rested our tired arms. On the second day we kayaked to nearby Round Island and spent the morning snorkelling and eating a freshly caught fish (thanks to Eddy's spearing skills).
