A short 147 Km trip today, back to flat terrain and straight roads. Only one tiny township along the way.

Artesian bore.

Naturally flowing artesian bore at Julia Creek. The water is approx 40 deg.

Kronosaurus Queenslandicus.

Replica of a creature found near Richmond thought to be about 100 million years old. Just a bit older than Paul who today bravely fought to keep the mouth open for the photo.

Replica of an ankylosaur dinosaur also found near here and thought to also be about 100 million years old.

Lake Fred Tritton

Part of a man made lake adjacent to the caravan park in Richmond. Popular for fishing, swimming, water sports, BBQ’s, playground etc.
