What a night and morning no more sickness it's now been replaced with the same problem but from the other end, anything I eat or drink exits uncontrollably within 20-30 minutes.
Today is the surprise I'd planned so many months ago after a number of late night phone calls to Oz. I'd found a website in the Summer of 2015 for Michelle to go horse riding where there were a number of options half day, full day, Moon rides, beach or country rides, swimming rides, I told Michelle and she said she wanted to do either the beach or country ride, she was interested in swimming ride but was concerned about riding bareback in the water and swimming alongside an unknown horse so she settled on the country ride.
Unbeknown to Michelle I'd spent many late nights talking to the manager of the riding school and we'd worked out a personalised ride which was a combination of the country, and beach, rides but ending with a swimming ride. I explained Michelle's reservation about the swimming ride and we worked out how to achieve what I knew she really wanted to do, but without her knowing. I told
Michelle that following her country ride (that's what she thought she was having) I'd pick her up and we were all going to have a picnic on the beach as there was nowhere to change we'd all put our costumes on before leaving the resort.
I dropped the kids and Linda off at the beach and took Michelle to the meeting place to meet the staff and the horses ( the manager I'd planned the trip with decided to travel the 100km from her office to meet me as we'd had such a good laugh on the phone, so it was great to meet her) after a while she trotted off on her horse with a couple of staff in tow and I made my way back to the kids on the beach.
I hadn't really noticed when I dropped everyone off but the sea was quite rough with the surf running quite a swell so wasn't sure what would transpire anyway we played on the beach and at the time I was expecting the horses to make an appearance at the far end of the beach we kept watch. After about 30 mins we could see them in the
distance so off I trotted camera in hand to catch the moment she's told to take the saddle off, then remount as she's going out in the surf with her horse. whilst I was waiting the owner drove up as he'd heard what I
'd planned, he wasn't sure how things would pan out because of the surf but we'd see.
When the time came and her ride was finished Michelle was told she was now going swimming with her horse her reaction was "cool I always wanted to do that!" Because of the sea state she wasn't able to go out too far or swim alongside the horse but she thoroughly enjoyed the day, and that for me made it worth all the effort.
Fortunately, the nearby facilities were both adequate and hygienic for my frequent visits during the course of the day. Following our beach picnic, we walked around the local shops before making our way back to the resort.
