hello long time no blog, sorry all been a bit slack, also we were out bush a lot so have not had much time to do internet malarki.where to start,we went to the blue mountains (which really are blue!!)and stayed there treking for a few days.very nice sceanery (sorry i dont have the cammera whith me at the moment but will down load soon)and a lot of amazing views.next was off to alice springs to go see ayers rock or uluru.we booked on to a tour that took you to see kings canyon, kata tjuta and the big rock.the guide was a nice young bloke who seamed to be intrested in the subjects, so talked about it all with some passion.we slept under the stars in swags(big sleeping bag like things that are water proof and have a matteress)and hade big camp fires.then from alice we flew to cairns, which is ok.not to much and no beach.we hired a camper van ,which has been a bit of an adventure as the first van we were offerd was batterd to bits and absolutly filthy in side, when we asked the guy showing the van if he would take it he said no!.wethen had to wait till 3 in the afternoon ,again we found a batterd van ,but this time bigger so we took it as by this time we thougt if we turn this one down we would get a donkey and cart next.we got about 1 hour out of cairns and it brokedown.we were evetualy towed back to cairns to spend the night outside the depot, next day no apologie from the staff there, just smirks and a bolk who said it was probably our fualt and that this type had a few problems.van number three, and we are now underway. have spent a few days up the coast from cairns in the rain forrest on beaches that are picturesqe.tomorrow we go snorkeling on the great barrier reef.thats about all for now, lots of love rob and agata
