Whale of a day
How lucky were you to grace the waters of Hervey Bay Queensland for whale watching. In protected waters as they travel north to the Barrier Reef I presume in mid year migration. I'm only familiar with the whales in their late year migration south to Antarctica which is so different. Amazing you had the whales so up close and personal. Fantastic!

A whale of a time
It was a great day and worth the extra $$$ to go on The Spirit of Hervey Bay as she will sail well north of the other operators. Just spoke to some folk this morning who didn't go the extra, and all they saw were a few mum and bubs. These whales are now on their southern journey. The northern migration finished a couple of months back., other than a few straggler juveniles. Cheers,Rob

Definitely a great day, and rather different from chasing birds in trees! Hope you are travelling well. Cheers, Rob
