Standing along a fallen 500plus year old tree stump
Hi all, today was pretty much the same as yesterday. We stayed right away from the beach as the wind was gale force at 25 to 30 knots. We went and had a look at two lakes. Lake Birrabeen and Lake Boomanjin and both were very different lakes. Lake Birrabeen was the nicest to swim at. It was very similar to Lake McKenzie. Clear water and white sand. Lake McKenzie was nicer though. After lunch at Lake Birrabeen (tomatoes, cheese, vege mite and Nutella) we headed off to a place called Dilli Village. There was nothing there but a private fenced campground. We went directly onto Eastern beach from there and drove about 10km or so to Eurong. Eurong is Lisa and Tonina's favourite spot. It has a hot bread , grocery and COFFEE.
The sea was so wild, the wind was incredible. Cars were still using the beach to get to the southern end of the island to catch the ferry. Given this was the end of the three day weekend there were a lot of cars going south. It was so strange to have no wind at our camp site even though we could hear the wind in the

Another tree stump as old as the hills
trees. The trees are about 20 to 30 metres in length. We still have not had a chance to fish. The sea is so so rough. Today is Kaiden's birthday. Lisa made a beautiful chocolate cake in the camp oven without the Thermo Mix. Hahaha. After that Paul set up a movie projector so we could watch a couple of movies. Only thing missing was the popcorn. This will be the last night here at central station. Tomorrow we go and do some beach camping in gale force winds. Not sure how that will go but we will see.

The entrance to our campsite. Dingo proof as it has grill on the floor and electrified wire. Look closely. Cohen stepped on it with his Thongs and it zapped. Lucky they were rubber.

Here is a closer look at the electrified gate. Too scared to touch it.
