Fraser Island

After yet another early get-up, meeting the group with whom we were going to spend the next 3 days, a 30 minute mad rush around the supermarket to buy food for 3 days for 9 people (on a strict budget!) and watching a comedy video on Fraser Island (which seemed to focus on how to brace ourselves against dingoes if we saw them), we set off on a tour of Fraser Island in a 4WD - during the 3 days we almost rolled the vehicle on a few occasions, but luckily managed to keep it upright, and didn't get stuck in the soft sand (unlike many of the other groups)!
Unfortunately it rained for our first day there, and at various points throughout the 2nd and 3rd day, which did impact on how much time we wanted to be outside, although generally we had a good time anyway.
Managed to see quite a lot of wildlife including turtles, a snake and a dingo (though we had been given the impression that we would see loads of them)...

Off To Noosa, and then on to Brisbane for Christmas.
